Male premed and med students, you are at an advantage over other guys when it comes to dating. It may not feel like it sometimes,
but it’s true. You are a). striving for and achieving excellence, b). a leader (women love leaders) and c). you are becoming more confident by the second because of a & b. The above are very powerful for attracting women.
Here are the 10 rules:
Remember, the most important ability you can have is- learn how to make women feel beautiful! More on that later.
Being a successful physician is not the key to happiness, being happy is the key to being a successful physician.
Talk to you all later.
Keep going!

If you want to start behaving like a medical student- start exercising. One of the most striking parts of medical school is how physically fit it’s medical students are. No, there are no built in med school PE classes. No, “Pilates 101″ is not part of the curriculum. But a majority of students seem to live healthy lifestyles and exercise regularly. Students/faculty don’t talk about it much but many participate in this idea of healthy body=healthy mind. It’s as if there is a magical, incompletely understood link between being physically fit and being smart.
While the idea of more exercise = healthier brain is not new…
“Lack of activity destroys the good condition of every human being while movement and methodical physical exercise save it and preserve it.”
– Plato
…modern science corroborates (see below). Premeds, you can start behaving like a med student NOW. Start a regular exercise program. But remember start slow. Moderation + consistency is key…
“Be not afraid of going slowly, be afraid only of standing still.”
– Chinese Proverb
You don’t have to run a marathon next weekend. Focus more on participating in regular physical activity. Consistency is key. Regular exercise will help improve your mood, improve your focus, and reducing impulsiveness… Which will make you a better student and a happier person.
“True enjoyment comes from activity of the mind & exercise of the body; the two are ever united.”
– Alexander von Humboldt
